Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs (cimex lectularius) are one of the most difficult pests to eradicate and can be found nearly all over the world.

Due to their small size and flattened body, bed bugs can hide in some unusual places, including couches, picture frames and behind electrical switch plates.

Beds make a perfect location to hide since the bed bugs can easily come out to feed at night while we are sleeping. And, if needed, they can quickly retreat to the safety of the bed frame or mattress if disturbed.

While bed bug infestations are often associated with beds, they are easily spread throughout the home and be found on other furniture outside of the bedroom. (Pest world.org)
